Rebirthing is a self-help method learned under the guidance of a trained professional Rebirther. The Rebirthing process uses a simple, defined, circular breathing technique to enable the individual to achieve a finer awareness of mind, body and emotions to bring himself fully into the present moment. In this state, the individual can experience an expanded, magnified sensibility of previously submerged feelings and sensations. The significance of the use of the breath in this process lies in its profound connection to thoughts, feelings and memories. Re- experiencing the birth trauma often occurs during Rebirthing because it is believed that our resistance, negativity, and feelings of rejection carried into adult life have their origins in the birth process. Rebirthing allows one to fully surrender to oneself so that a natural, smooth restructuring may occur, leading to an overall sense of acceptance, renewal, and gratitude for life.
Reflex-Aromatherapy is the treatment of the body through both the application of pressure to the feet and/or hands at specified points, and through the use of plant oils selected to aid the re- balancing of the body.
Reflexology is the study, science and art that works with the theory of pressure maps, resembling a shape of the human body, found on the feet, hands and outer ears. As stress builds, the body works less effectively, eventually leading to ill health. Using specific, relaxing touch techniques, gentle nurturing pressure is applied to the pressure points, which, when repeated over time, has often been reported to dramatically help the self healing process. As a result, a wide range of health benefits have been experienced through reflexology; from the relief of pain in the neck, shoulder and lower back, to relief of allergic reactions, headaches, upset stomachs, and colon discomforts.
Reiki means universal life-force energy. Reiki is a scientific method of activating and balancing the life-force energy (also known as ki, prana and chi) present in all living things. The teaching is universal, available to everyone, equally, with beliefs in the teachings of Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Confucius, Mohammed, Mahatma Gandhi, Ralph Waldo Emerson and many more. Religious Science offers practical and definite methods for creating positive life changes. It teaches how to heal lives of any and all discord, fear, superstition, guilt and sense of lack. Rolfing is a technique of stretching and moving the connective tissue that envelopes the muscles (fascia) in order to lengthen and balance the body along its natural, vertical axis. Distortions of the connective tissue may be caused by reaction and compensation due to accidents, emotional tension, or past traumas that have never been released. A complete Rolfing treatment consists of a series of ten sessions progressing from superficial to deeper layers of tissue, and from localized areas of constriction to an overall reorganization of larger body segments.
Rubenfeld Synergy Method is an integrative healing system which actively includes the body, mind, emotions and spirit in the client’s healing process. Use of a light listening touch, combined with dialogue, movement, imagery and appropriate humor, supports the client in accessing memories and emotions stored unconsciously in the body. Together, the Synergist and client listen to both the body and verbal stories, using language as a bridge to understanding messages and metaphors that arise from the body. With growing self-awareness, the client has the opportunity to experiment with new possibilities for change, and to consciously create a freer, more vibrant life.

Shiatsu is a form of acupressure used in Japan for more than 1,000 years. Shiatsu, a Japanese word meaning finger pressure, uses varying rhythms and degrees of pressure to balance the life- energy that flows through specific pathways (meridians) in the body. Tension is released and weak areas are strengthened to allow for even circulation, cleansing of the cells, and improved vital organ function. Shiatsu can diagnose, prevent and relieve many chronic and acute conditions manifesting on both physical and emotional levels.
Sound Vibrational Healing is based on the idea that all illness is characterized by blockage in the electromagnetic energy field. Through sound and light these blockages are dissolved and released. A series of pure crystal tone therapy facilitates rebalancing the seven energy centers (chakras), which in turn correspond to the endocrine gland system. Pure tone music produces a positive shift in consciousness, bringing us to our highest radiance in our physical form. It suppresses pain, relieves stress, elevates emotions, creates mental clarity, expands creativity, and aids in all healing.

Spiritual Healing comes in two forms. In one, the healer uses thought or touch to align his or her spiritual essence with the spirit of the client. The healer works to balance the spiritual field to create harmony between mind and body and draw the client into the active presence of a Divine Healing Force. In the other form, the healer transforms healing energy into a vibrational frequency that the client can receive and comfortably assimilate. Spiritual healings often work within a particular spiritual tradition, seek guidance from spirit helpers, and rely on some form of prayer or meditation.
Structural Integration is the gentle manipulation to the body’s connective tissue to restore normal structural alignment and remove restrictions. Structural Integration physically changes the body, and the changes are often permanent. Many soft tissue maladies are effectively alleviated and a person will typically gain approximately and inch in height and attain greater mobility and flexibility. Practitioners undergo a one to three year curriculum in holistic techniques.
Tai Chi is a Chinese Taoist martial art form of meditation in movement, combining mental concentration, coordinated breathing, and a series of slow, graceful body movements. Tai Chi may be practiced for meditative and health purposes or, with increase speed, the movements may be used for self defense. The practitioner allows the body weight or center of gravity to sink into the abdomen and feet. This relaxes and deepens the breathing, quiets the mind, and, in turn, regulates the heartbeat, digestion, and various other muscular, neurological, glandular, and organic functions.

Through these images one may draw forth information from the unconscious, illuminating and clarifying the profound meaning of the situation in question. The cards can be considered as archetypes of experience and character traits that stimulate thought, leading to revelation and change.

Therapeutic Touch is a contemporary interpretation of hands on healing, developed, researched, and currently used by health professionals. A Therapeutic Touch practitioner attunes to the client’s energy field, finds weakened or congested areas, and re-balances or refreshes them using touch techniques. Treatment may release tension, promote relaxation, decrease anxiety, alleviate pain and help facilitate the body’s natural healing processes. It is especially useful for chronic pain and stress management, and for easing the transition of the terminally ill. Therapeutic Touch is taught in 80 Universities and practiced by an estimated 30,000 professionals around the world.
Trager Approach is a modality based on a simple concept: that much discomfort, tension, stiffness and fatigue can be released by imparting a different set of signals to the nervous system. Motion and movement in the muscles and joints is used to communicate the sensations of lightness, ease, pleasure and aliveness. Restriction is replaced with freedom in moving and being. The technique is achieved by gentle, non-invasive bodywork (psychophysical integration) and by teaching simple, mindful movement exploration (Mentastics)which a client uses to generate the positive sensations on his/her own.
Vapassana Meditation is an art of meditation that teaches mindfulness and equanimity, to reduce stress and open to healing and self realization. It is used to improve such skills as perception, vision-body coordination and visual information processing. Vision Therapy patients range form infants whose eyes cross to retired adults whose visual fatigue interferes with reading, driving or hobbies. Many conditions respond to therapy: video display terminal discomfort, visual tension headaches, learning related vision problems, strabismus (crossed eyes) and amblyopia (lazy eye).
Yoga denotes a concept of discipline leading to union. The body and the mind form a continuum of consciousness and life that, achieving a state of focus and clarity, may unite with the Universal Spirit. Of two general yoga forms, one concentrates on posture and alignment, and another on mental control and a consciousness differing from waking, sleeping, or dreaming. Each method utilizes stretching postures, breathing, and meditation techniques to calm the mind and emotions, and tone the body. This integration may create an internal atmosphere of peacefulness and integration, and bring the individual from a state of separation and divisiveness to a unity-of-self that is flexible, accepting, affirming and whole.
